Maze game
Maze game
A circular maze made with my laser cutter
The maze consists of two layers: one made of acrylic and the other from plywood.
Initially, the plan was to incorporate a LED strip along the border to create a captivating light effect. However, I found that I already enjoyed the unique effect created by natural daylight.
The border, is a simple ring I designed in Tinkercad and 3D printed.
The maze is generated with, mazegenerator.net, which is an online maze generator, and exported it to SVG.
The most challenging aspect was glueing the plywood to the acrylic. To simplify the process, I opted to laser-cut the bottom from a thin plywood sheet, utilizing the negative space. This was then glued onto the bottom plate. This ensured that the maze's shape was precisely as intended.
After allowing the glue to fully dry, I firmly pressed all the components together: the top acrylic disc, the maze with the bottom plate, and the 3D printed ring. And of course, let's not forget to add the marble! ;)
